Attendant Busy-out (Station)

Description

Attendant Busy-Out (Station) lets you busy-out a specific station by using the attendant console. When you busy-out the station, it cannot be used or accessed.

Conditions and Feature Interactions

• Attendant Busy-Out (Station) is available only on  5540 IP consoles.

• Attendant Busy-Out (Station) is not supported for Hot Desk users.

Operation

5540 IP Console

To busy-out a station:

1. Press Function.

2. Press Stn Function.

3. Enter the extension number of the station.

4. Press Enter.

5. Press Busy/Rts.

6. Do one of the following:

7. To busy-out an idle station, press Busy.

8. To busy-out an active station when it becomes idle, press Courtesy Dwn.

9. To busy-out an active station and drop its call, press Force Dwn.

7. Press Exit.

To return a station to service:

1. Press Function.

2. Press Stn Function.

3. Enter the extension number of the station.

4. Press Enter.

5. Press Busy/Rts.

6. Press Ret To Serv.

7. Press Exit.
